Pultenaea imminuta R.L.Barrett & S.F.McCune APNI*

Synonyms: Pultenaea sp. Maules Creek (M.V.Robinson s.n., NSW1115296) APNI*

Description: Erect shrub c. 0.6 m high, young stems with short, slightly crisped or straight, appressed, matted hairs to 0.5 mm long.

Alternate, ±llinear, 3.9–14.0 mm long, 0.5–0.9(–1.4) mm wide, mucronate, margins strongly incurved, mostly or completely hiding the upper surface.

Inflorescence leafy, with loosely to tightly clustered flowers. Calyx 4.3–5.9 mm long, tube and lobes with long, spreading hairs. Flowers yellow-orange with minute red marks at the base of the standard, keel yellow-orange. Standard petal 4.0–5.8 mm wide. Ovary with a tuft of long, appressed hairs in apical 5/6–1/2.

Flowering: September.

Distribution and occurrence: Only known from the Leard State Forest, north-east of Boggabri, south-east of Narrabri.

Grows in eucalypt and cypress pine woodland on skeletal soils derived from basalt over conglomerate on mid to upper slopes of hills.
