Common name: Riverina Leek Orchid
Prasophyllum sp. Moama (D.L.Jones 19276) APNI* Description: Terrestrial herb, 15–35 cm high.
Leaf 15–30 cm long, dull green.
Inflorescence 5–25-flowered, spaced to moderately crowded. Flowers green to brown with whitish to pinkish labellum, lightly scented. Dorsal sepal ovate-lanceolate, to 8 mm long, to 3 mm wide, decurved. Lateral sepals completely free, to 8 mm long, c. 1.5 mm wide. Lateral petals obliquely erect to porrect, sometimes incurved near apex, linear to narrowly linear-lanceolate, to 7 mm long, c. 1 mm wide. Labellum distinctly stalked; lamina 6–7.5 mm long, 3–3.5 mm wide, ovate-lanceolate in outline when flattened, erect to recurved in proximal half, recurved near the middle; apex not projecting between the lateral sepals, the margins undulate. Callus plate fleshy, ovate-lanceolate, occupying most of the adaxial surface of the lamina, wrinkled, green, glabrous.
Capsules not seen.
Flowering: August–October
Distribution and occurrence: Known only from a single location near Moama, and two adjacent populations in Victoria. Collected from riverine woodland.
