Bossiaea grayi K.L.McDougall APNI* Description: Multistemmed shrub to 1.5 m high, ± glabrous; branches flat, winged, (3–)4–6 mm wide.
Leaves reduced to scales, 1–2.2 mm long.
Flowers 9.5–11 mm long; pedicels 1–2 mm long; bracts several, distichous, c. 2.5 mm long, persistent; bracteoles obscure, caducous. Calyx 5–6.5 mm long. Petals deep yellow with dark red markings at base of standard, on keel and occasionally wings. Ovary shortly stipitate, glabrous, 6-ovuled.
Pod oblong, 2–2.9 cm long, stipe 2.4–3.7 mm long.
Flowering: September–October. Fruit mature in December.
Distribution and occurrence: Primarily occurs along the Murrumbidgee, Molonglo and Cotter Rivers in the Australian Capital Territory and not yet confirmed for NSW. Grows in sand amongst boulders on river banks.
