Synonyms: Senna form taxon 'helmsii' APNI*

Description: Mature leaves with pinnae. Petioles terete. Pinnae flat, 2 mm or broader, sometimes inrolled and then appearing terete. Pinnae densely hairy with woolly hairs. Pinnae obovate, 2–4 pairs, margins recurved. Pinnae 10–25 mm long, 6–12 mm wide, margins recurved, densely woolly and with wax becoming dark and discoloured at maturity; petiole 5–10 mm long.


Flowering: Flowers winter and spring.

Distribution and occurrence: Inland plains and rocky slopes.
